For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. This is no accident, but one of the many casualties of creating c 3 tax exempt status for churches under the I. In their greed and insecurity and idolatry towards government, churches that have taken advantage of this status and had it recognized by the IRS have basically substituted the headship of Christ over their church for the headship of government.
This is analyzed in sermon 6. Pastors and their flocks in present American Christianity are taught the lie that “government is good”, when in fact, our political history proves the opposite. The Bible, on the other hand, refers to government as “the Beast” in Rev. Churches who have bowed down to worship Caesar in violation of the Bible have basically become incorporated businesses in partnership with the government as franchise contractors.

But for how long has this been the situation? When I was in the eighth grade, I remember it very well; we were assigned to do a written report and in addition to our written report we had to also give a speech in front of our class about a certain topic. My topic had to do with the a few of the different calendars that were in existence in the world.
I learned then, that this was a difficult subject for me to understand. However, the teacher liked my report and had me give it at a special meeting of teachers; but it was just an elementary level report, but I had never thought about it before. I knew then that it was a lot more complicated than I could understand. And it still is. Later, I learned, thanks to Christian Identity, that biblical ancient Israel had a very different calendar than we have now.

He blazes a clear way through every thicket and woods, and then softly says, ‘Follow me. Let’s go on together, you and I. His feet have trodden down smooth a path through every experience that comes to us. He knows each road, and knows it well: Everyday paths He has trodden and glorified, and will walk anew with each of us. The only safe way to travel is with Him alongside and in control” — S. Faith “Faith is taking God at His word. Faith is not belief without evidence. It is belief on the very best of evidence–the Word of Him ‘that cannot lie.
Faith is so rational that it asks no other evidence than this all-sufficient evidence.

In his book Pharaohs and Kings: The Bible—From Myth to History [ b]. David Rohl purports to have produced a better correlation between the findings of archaeology and the Bible by revising Egyptian chronology, Rohl describes the current state of affairs in Biblical archaeology as fallows: Direct material support for the traditional history of the Israelite nation, as handed down in the books of Genesis, Exodus, Joshua.
Judges, Samuel, Kings and Chronicles, is virtually non-existent 7. This statement is, of course, grossly exaggerated and inaccurate, as even a cursory review of the many books on archaeology and the Bible will reveal.

This past week, we concluded our preaching series on biblical courtship. The goal was to help parents and grandparents with biblical truth and helpful resources on how to equip your children for the process of finding a spouse. We live in a confused world of compromise. Marriage has been redefined, maligned, and abused. Divorce is celebrated and expected. This may seem overly protective or an ancient practice, but as I stated in my sermon, the recreational dating methods are relatively new in terms of human history.
The recreational dating routine became popularized sometime over the last years. Before that, finding a mate was done in a much more controlled and tame manner — even outside of the church among unbelievers. I preached from Genesis 2 and outlined the way God created Eve and presented her to Adam as his wife. The way God presented her reveals the importance and sacredness of marriage. As parents, we must be directly involved in this process.

But he loved hanging out with her. So, I just encouraged him to stay in proximity, to grow in his friendship with her, and to hope something would grow from there. Godliness is sexy to godly people. And so, if you get in proximity, and you see the godliness and character of a woman, you begin to take compatibility and godliness and gospel partnership more seriously than just physical attraction. In the first part of Mingling , I really address attraction as a good thing, but not at the level to where our culture has put it.
We are all wrinkling. Our nose and ears never quit growing. It is only a matter of time till that little component that we are basing so much on starts to vanish and must be replaced by attraction founded on character and covenant. When I got cancer, everything that was sexy about me vanished — my strength, my vibrancy, my sense of humor, my creative romantic pursuit of Lauren.
All of that was gone for two years. And my hair was gone. I became a shriveled up version of what I was before the cancer. Lauren entered into covenant with me, loved the character that God had formed in my heart, and now it was my character and godliness that fueled her attraction to me physically.
